Israel-Hamas war

In Gaza, more than 330,000 residents have been forced to flee since Israel started bombing the area.

Since Israel started bombarding the Gaza Strip, more than 330,000 people have been forced to flee their homes, according to a statement released early on Thursday (local time) by the United Nations Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).

Over the last 24 hours, the overall number of displaced people increased by 30%, reaching 338,934, of whom over  thirds are taking shelter in UNRWA faculties," stated the assertion.

OCHA went on to voice its concerns over the harm done to Gaza's civilian infrastructure. Israel started to shut off the heavily populated enclave's supply of fuel, water, and electricity.

600,000 people lack access to water, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza earlier on Thursday. Some hospitals also rely on well water. The government also stated that since Saturday, there have been about 1,200 deaths in Gaza.

On the other hand, the World Food Programme (WFP) states that it wants to give "a critical food lifeline to over 800,000 people."
