Saudi Arabia stopped the restoration of relations with Israel

Washington: After the Israeli aggression on Palestine, the US plan to normalize relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel has been put on hold and Saudi Arabia has suspended the talks for an indefinite period.

Regarding this, two influential Riyadh insiders attested to the fact that Saudi foreign policy goals are being quickly adjusted in light of the intensifying conflict between Israel and the Palestinian organization Hamas.

Following the most recent crisis in the area, ties between Saudi Arabia and Iran have returned to normal. The first phone contact to Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi was placed by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, as Riyadh attempts to stop turmoil in the area from spreading.

Reuters was informed by sources in both nations that the US-sponsored negotiations on normalization with Israel will be postponed.

"The process of normalizing relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel was under criticism before, but this has only made the issue more complicated," stated Saudi expert Aziz Al-Ghashian.

It should be noted that after the Al-Aqsa flood by Hamas, Israel has fired more than 6,000 rockets in several areas of Gaza and Palestine, as a result of which more than 2,000 civilians, including children, have been martyred and thousands have been injured.
